Meet Dan. 

Career strategist and amateur pepper farmer. 

 

Across 25+ years in film and advertising, my passion has always been solving problems. 

I've driven growth, nurtured communities, optimized communications and created opportunities for brands across industries. (Some favourites: vitaminwater, Mercedes Benz, TWN, Ryobi, Mitsubishi Electric, Intuit TurboTax, and Oxford Properties). The client list isn’t really the point though, the solutions are. Each one singular, customized, and steeped in brand values.

 

My methodology is simple, but my process is structured. I ask questions to distinguish symptom from problem, and employ empathy for brand + consumer to drill down on need + success.

 

Then, find thoughtful ways to achieve them.

Sum. was built to function as a collective. Over my career I've had time to work with and learn from some of the best and brightest across marketing, advertising and film. Over that time I've built a roster of like minded problem solvers with uniquely different skill sets. When your situation requires it, I bring these brilliant minds in to work with us, offering insight, experience and creativity customized for any solution.
